William van Hertsen

Will is the Founder and CEO of New Debt Exchange. New Debt Exchange offers a connectivity system for dealers, bondholders and debt issuers, to foster secondary liquidity and the efficiency of bondholder communications. Prior to launching New Debt Exchange, Will was a trader in the Structured Financing, Investing and Lending group at Goldman Sachs. There, he built a dedicated lending business providing secured Risk Retention financing to CLO, CMBS and Student Loan ABS originators, worked on long-term secured financing transactions globally with institutional counterparties, and participated in the structuring, underwriting, and distribution of esoteric structured products. Will holds an MS in Financial Engineering and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Paris-Dauphine University.
