Ms. Susan Estes is a chief executive with exceptional depth and understanding of the fixed income markets. After 30 years trading U.S. Treasuries, related fixed-income products and managing domestic and international high-quality rates operations as well as related businesses for large financial institutions, she created the concept behind OpenDoor’s market-based solution. Her knowledge of the global fixed income markets and evolving fintech landscape helped her build a cohesive team of industry professionals to successfully launch OpenDoor in April 2017.

Susan has served on prestigious Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC), under both Secretary’s Paulson and Snow. Separately working with the Committee to address topical market issues with the Chair and Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, under both Chairman Greenspan and Chairman Bernanke. Susan also served as a Member of the Board of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA and as Chair the Government and Agency Division of the Bond Market Association (now SIFMA).
