Rich Mazzella

Deputy Head of Global Fixed Income and Commodities Millennium Management

Mr. Mazzella has 29 years of experience working in the global fixed income markets. Prior to joining Millennium in early 2018, Mr. Mazzella was a Partner at Hutchin Hill Capital for two years. From late 2008 thru early 2015 Mr. Mazzella was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer for Citadel’s Global Fixed Income Business. Prior to that, Mr. Mazzella was a Managing Director within JP Morgan’s Investment Bank, where he worked for over 14 years in a broad variety of positions across JMP’s Proprietary Trading and Market-Making businesses. Mr. Mazzella has extensive experience across Market Structure and Electronic Trading in the Global Fixed Income markets, including Sovereign Debt, Interest Rate Swaps, Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Futures. Mr. Mazzella is a CPA. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Lehigh University in 1987 and graduated summa cum laude with an MBA in Finance from New York University in 1994.
