Peter Borstelmann

Peter Borstelmann is President of ICE Bonds, which is part of the fixed income business at Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE). He oversees a team that is responsible for ICE’s fixed income trading platforms including BondPoint, TMC Bonds and ICE Credit Trade, as well as ICE ETF Hub, a new primary market trading platform that is helping enable the next phase of growth in the ETF market.

Borstelmann joined ICE in 2014 as Head of Corporate Development for ICE Clear Credit, the leading clearinghouse for credit default swaps (CDS). He was responsible for helping develop the strategy and implementation of new business initiatives, and was instrumental in helping to increase clearing of single name CDS instruments.

Prior to joining ICE, Borstelmann was a Director at Barclays Prime Services, responsible for managing the U.S. over-the-counter (OTC) clearing business, focused on driving the development and growth of the business. He joined Barclays in 2004 as a member of the credit sales team, and moved to Prime Services in 2007 to build out Barclay’s Credit Intermediation platform.

Borstelmann received a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Villanova University in 2004.
