Michael Winnike

Michael Winnike, Director, leads the US Market Structure team within BlackRock's Global Trading organization. The Market Structure team is responsible for influencing and shaping market structure across asset classes and products. Michael works closely with BlackRock's strategic partners to define and implement trading platform enhancements and represents BlackRock's view on market structures issues externally with regulators and industry associations. Michael also manages BlackRock's clearing strategy and swap clearing relationships. Michael’s service with the BlackRock dates back to 2010. Prior to assuming his current position, Michael was a member of BlackRock’s Prime Brokerage Financing team which provides a comprehensive approach to managing BlackRock's prime brokerage financing relationships. Michael began his BlackRock career as a member of the Legal and Compliance Department, providing legal coverage for derivatives and cash trading platform. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whitman College.
