Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is a Managing Director and Head of International Credit Trading at TD Securities. With over 20 years of fixed income experience, Mike is responsible for credit trading across multiple currencies including USD, with a team of traders based in New York, London, Singapore and Dublin. He joined TD in July 2010.

Before joining TD, Mike spent four years trading cash, CDS, and index products at BNP Paribas. He started his career at Lehman Brothers in New York before moving to London to help set up the Euro Credit Trading desk. He holds a BSSc, with a major in Economics from Queen’s University, Belfast, and an MBA from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Mike resides in London with his husband and twin boys.
