John Adam

John is a member of BlackRock's Aladdin Product Management Team, and leads Trading Product Management. Prior to joining BlackRock, John served as Senior Vice President and Head of Portfolio Management and Trading Solutions for FactSet, which he joined as part of their acquisition of Portware LLC in 2015. He led Portware while integrating it into FactSet's Analytics & Trading business unit. Prior to this role, he served as the Global Head of Product Strategy at Portware and held various roles at Liquidnet that included Director of Product Management and Director of Corporate Strategy. He also held product and sales engineering roles at NEON, Sybase, and Slam Dunk Networks and has over 20 years of experience in FinTech. Mr. Adam earned a B.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
