Haider Ali

Haider Ali is Head of US Treasury Trading and FIC Algorithmic Products at RBC Capital Markets based in New York. In this role, Haider is responsible for running the institutional market making business in US Government securities including bills, nominal bonds and inflation products.  In addition, he is responsible for the product development and growth of Execution Solutions in Fixed Income products including US Rates and Global Listed Derivatives.

Haider joined RBC in 2012 from Quantitative Brokers, a fin-tech startup where he focused on automated model development and high frequency microstructure research for listed interest rate derivatives. He started out his career and spent four years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Equity Quant Strategies Group focusing on blind risk, portfolio trading and execution strategies. He graduated in 2005 with an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
