Eric Knight

Eric Knight is Head of Crypto Market Making Strategies at Jane Street and is a founding member of the firm’s Crypto Trading Desk. In this role, Eric helps coordinate the desk’s infrastructure and is actively involved in day-to-day crypto trading and strategy development. Eric joined Jane Street in 2001 as a trader on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. He got his trading badge at the age of 21, becoming one of the youngest traders on the floor. He has since traded on many different desks at the firm, including ETFs, Options, ADRs, and now Crypto. Eric holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives on Long Island, where he grew up, and is an avid supporter of the New York Mets. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and twin toddlers.
