Andy Hill is a Manging Director and Co-Head of ICMA’s Market Practice and Regulatory Policy team. During his time at ICMA Andy has been responsible, globally, for ICMA’s work related to Secondary Bond Markets as well as Repo and Collateral. Prior to joining ICMA in 2014, Andy was a repo and short-rates trader for close to twenty years, ten years of which he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. He has also worked as a consultant in the Aid and Development sector, specialising in program evaluation and monitoring, and primarily based in Cambodia. Andy has previously served on the Board of the Cambodian NGO Education Partnership in Phnom Penh while awarded a Goldman Sachs Public Service Fellowship. Andy holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Bayes Business School, University of London, an MSc in Poverty Reduction and Development Management from the University of Birmingham, and in 2023 he graduated the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Applied Data Science Program with “exception”.
