Michael Koegler has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to cofounding Market Alpha Advisors, Michael was a Principal at ViableMkts, a market structure and FinTech advisory firm, and the Head of Marketing and Strategy at Javelin Capital Markets, a CFTC-regulated Swap Execution Facility. He has an extensive background in a wide range of asset classes, including liquid rates, OTC derivatives, futures, foreign exchange, municipal securities, corporate bonds and structured credit. He has a deep knowledge base in the technology and market structure of all fixed income, currency and commodity markets. During the course of his career, Michael has held senior leadership positions at sell-side financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, Bear Stearns, UBS and Jefferies. He has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Michael is a Commodity Trading Advisor and holds series 24, 7, 63 and 3 licenses with FINRA and the NFA.
