Financial Markets Standards Board (FMSB) is an industry-led, member-funded, not-for-profit, global standards body for the wholesale financial markets.

Our goal is to ensure fair and effective global financial markets by addressing the gaps between regulation and actual market practices, agreeing standards of good practice to fill those gaps, driving adherence to the standards, and ultimately, eliminating bad behaviours.

To achieve this, we identify vulnerabilities in the market, provide a safe space for members to jointly develop best practice, attest their adherence to agreed standards which drives adoption in the industry and promotes international convergence.

The value to the financial community is that practitioners get to shape industry standards that directly impact them in an environment that is collaborative and transparent, with engagement from global regulatory bodies.
